The Triad-Orbit IO-EXT2S 360-Degree Rotational IO Connector adds 2 inches of reach and a full 360 degrees of rotation to any Triad-Orbit IO connection point, allowing the output angle to be precisely set and locked with a large wing screw. Where fixed extensions like the IO-EXT4 and IO-EXT8 add reach in a straight line, the Triad-Orbit IO-EXT2S 360-Degree Rotational IO Connector adds the ability to rotate the output to any angle - useful for precisely orienting a microphone, camera, or light without repositioning the stand or boom.

360-degree rotation with wing screw lock

The rotational joint turns freely through a full 360 degrees and locks at any position using a large wing screw that is easy to tighten and loosen by hand. This makes fine-tuning the output angle fast and repeatable - tighten the screw when the desired position is reached, and the connector holds it firmly in place. Loosening the screw for further adjustment requires no tools and takes seconds.

IO-H1 mounting head and thread adapters

The included IO-H1 quick-change coupler head exposes a 5/8"-27 male thread at the output, with a 3/8"-16 male adapter also included. This covers the two standard mic thread sizes used by the vast majority of microphone clips, shock mounts, and other accessories, making the connector compatible with non-IO-equipped gear out of the box without additional adapters.

Wall and VESA mount compatibility

The IO-EXT2S pairs with Triad-Orbit's IO-W wall mount and IO-VM VESA mount (both sold separately), making it useful beyond traditional stand applications. For wall-mounted monitors, televisions, or speakers, the rotational connector allows the output angle to be adjusted after the wall plate is installed - a significant advantage in fixed installations where repositioning the mount itself is not practical.
